@terrestiralsoup When putting at all times, you have a focus point. because i putt with overstable wizards, my focus point is one single chain link a little to the right of where the pole is (RHBH). If you do the same, just put your focus point along the same chain link you usually focus on a bit higher and possibly at the top of the basket. You will release higher without realizing it and you will put just enough power into it to climb the hill
Its so crazy I only used innova discs for the first two yearsI since I started playing and they make great discs but this year I picked up a cyclone an xs a surge and a magnet and I gotta say my game is so much better discraft makes some great discs surprisingly so now 80% of my discs are discraft honestly I like innovas discs because they have really cool names but I think discraft flys better for me at least
I always seem to miss uphill putts, my shots mostly end up short and low, is there a trick to uphill shots? let go higher and give a bit more power on them?
@EdMcStinko While I know many players that use a hyzer style of putt, I would say that most successful players use a flatter throw. The main benefits I have always seen for a flat putt are (a) you are throwing directly at the target and do not need to figure in a large swing in the shot (b) a disc entering the chains on an angle has a better chance of slicing through and (c) roll aways are more prevalent with hyzer putts. Flat is the way to go!
@marshie1337 There is no actual difference in the disc itself, just the plastic. The Soft Banger is truly just that, softer, and that feel is what I like in my putters. From there it is just a personal preference as I can see no performance difference in the throw of either plastic. So find out which one you like and go with that one!
Thanks for the tips. For what reasons does one choose either an angled (I think the teacher called it “hyzer”) or a flat release? Recently I began to use the angled release because it was the only way I could make a bid the longer putts. Now I use that release for all of my putts because I dont have to think as much about when to release. Can anyone else relate to what Im talking about?

Thanks Mr. Chevy Chase for the putting tips. I picked up a ton of stuff I’ll be using in my short game. Love what you’ve done with your hair!

i currently use a pro-d plastic banger GT for putting, but every video i’ve seen refers to a soft banger for putting? what’s the difference?
