work on the take away.. stop rolling your hands inside… take it back with shoulders.. think of ricky fowler’s take away (outside and shut on the take away)
My Golf pro sent me the video in slow motion. I’ll ask him next time I see him. Off down the range on Thursday night so will have a play. Do you have golfshot app for the iPhone? they also do Tiger woods My Swing I think its called which records your swing and allows you to slo mo it back. Also allows you to upload to the golfshot website. all pretty cool. worth a look and the app is so cheap. I love it.
next time at the range just try that right shoulder pulling back behinde you just till the club gets to 8 o’clock but keep your hips dead still , let me know how it goes
……top but over correcting and coming in from the outside.
I like the tips and will have a try with the
se. I plan to really work on it over the winter during the “off” season.
I had a look at your drive and it looks really smooth. I’m no expert but it looks nice to me. Good luck with yours. BTW, love the auto ball set up, wish our club had some of that I tell you.
need to have a look at some more local clubs to see what the driving facilities are like.
regards and thanks again.
Hi Shezzalarr, Thanks so much for the comments. Really appreciate people taking the time to watch and comment.
I agree about trying to take away in one movement, breaking it down like this is something that my local coach has had me do for the time being in order to try and gain some consistency to the swing. However it is something that I would like to change once I start hitting more regular straight shots.
My main problem is moving away to the inside too quick and then correcting at the…
also just try on the range keeping your weight on your right instep on the back swing to really feel the coil, top of swing split second pause and unwind the coil, hope these help a little.
have a look at video i just put on, thats what i feel good luck
hi
im no pro but i play off 3 and like to think i know a little bit
if i was teaching you i would try and concentrate on a more 1 piece take away, so if you can imagine your 1st move from the ball just to be the feeling of somebody pulling your right shoulder back but whilst keeping everything else still and stable hips, hands, head etc. only till the club reaches the 8 o’clock position though. Then get everything turning and arms raising together as a unit.
I forgot too mention, I am also aware that I am way too steep in the top of the back swing. (I have also uploaded a front on view. Thanks for your time.
